It's not as though Germany can have the security in thinking that if the opposition scores a goal, Germany will score more . . . like ManU had for the longest time. Come up against a team with good defense and even a so-so attack and things might be different. Having said that, with Ballack in the team it is a different ballgame - he is the cornerstone of a fully functioning team.
