Prices of 'Mama' noodles to remain unchanged: Thailand

Featured Replies

I go to bed every night worried about the mama noodle prices. wub.png

No problem then. Just don't go to bed with a bowl of Mama noodles in your hand. You'll be drinking water all night.

You would be surprised what a tasty & filling meal Thai's can put together with mama noodles, a can of sardines and a few cheap Thai veg. I reckon they can easily feed 3-4 for 50 Baht. Plus they drink water which costs virtually nothing. This frugal way of living leaves quite a bit of disposable income for cars, bikes, phones etc.

Its absolute Shit!!

and at least half the population eat very little else.

i cook awesome roasts, soups, casseroles, stews & breads & & &....

yet when my kids mum gets home from an honest 14-15 hour 'work' day, she'll ignore the hearty meals, lovingly prepared by myself and our little ones. (complete with step by step pics)

Prop herself on the table like its an even better (higher) floor and prepare her boiled Mama (which i refuse to eat cos its shit) and then offer me some (at half ten - half eleven at night)

Rarely does she even put an egg in it, apparently Omega 3 eggs arent as 'aroi/aloi' as the chemical/garbage fed local equivalent.

i think this just means as it tastes a bit different(actual egg flavour) from what she is used to they must have something wrong with them.

a tablespoon of sugar and or Pong Churot will fix most things though

I quite like Mama noodles.

A quick and tasty snack at any time of the day or night.

I use to think the same. Until a friend told me to read the label. It's not a very healthy meal...quite the contrary, actually.

If I only ate healthy food, drank healthy drinks, and did healthy activities, life would become quite dull.

A movie on TV, a glass of cold Pepsi and a bacon sandwich, deadly but enjoyable.

Can of cold pepsi (tastes better-same as fish and chips out of a newspaper) out eating Glass thumbsup.gif of Pepsi--do you mean a bacon butty ??
