i cld get 1 sent from oz by a mate...wld that be cheaper/better quality for same price?

havod touch old and new version. my oz fone is 850mhz so cant seem to get sim for internet 2 or 3G.

1st suggestion, put your Kindle away, it's a pain to read your OP.

I heard some countries' radio frequency exposure limits are higher (allowing more powerful receivers/transmitters) than other countries, not sure where Oz vs Thai stand on this scale. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will advice.

P.S. If I wanted to live in a forest monastery, I wouldn't want to have a phone on me, what's the point in living away from everyone then.
