KarenBravo
You need to adjust your halo, it's crooked. You've misplaced your compassion somewhere. A fellow human being's death is no place for glib and superior remarks. I'll reserve my compassion for the people who had their lives ripped away against their will. Not for those that squandered something precious. so, what you are saying is that you have no compassion for someone who is suffering whatever it is that makes them feel that they are at the end and decide to end there life. perhaps in your silence I hope you find the space to understand greater than what you conceive as your suffering and can learn to extend the compassion in your heart to all who suffer. Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying. As I've said before, many people who wanted to live (for their wives, children etc) never got the choice. tubby johnson
Choice? People have the choice to do anything with their lives. It's called freedom. Therefore someone's suicide is not the right time to post heartless and dismissive comments. It could happen to anyone of us, even the haughtiest.

Sadly, people slipping into depression lose sight of their many "choices" and "freedoms" and in some cases, only see a one and final option. If any member knows of someone going through a tough time, give them a call, or go and see them - you could be saving a life.

Its the same sort of luck of the draw as you describe in your posts. Nobody chooses depression. Edited May 6, 2014 by ClutchClark
slipperylobster
Not a time for jokes, sure. Serious. The man is gone, and at peace, which was the best he could do. I have a friend, who I had to admonish, as he was trying to make light of this, by saying "It is true then, that Italien men are well hung".
