Hua Hin ASEAN Jazz Contest

Hua Hin:-- Jazz musicians from universities across ASEAN countries will be competing in a competition on May 10th.

Teams will represent Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, as well as Thailand to compete for prizes valued at 100,000 THB.

There will also be also food, drinks and souvenirs on sale and performances of other artists and bands.

Guest artists include Koh Mr. Saxman or Koh. He has been the familiar name to Thai audiences and musicians for almost 20 years as a saxophonist who has recorded with many artists, as well as making his own studio albums.

Also performing will be The Vie Trio, composed of the Srinarong siblings Paye, Parn, and Pintusorn (“Pui”). The trio aggressively fuses pop and classical, a formula that’s met with great success in Bangkok.

The Event will be on May 10th on the beach in front of the Centara Grand Hotel.
