I'm looking to buy a couple sheets of saa paper to wrap some gifts. I know I can get it in Bo Sang but that's a hike from Santitham. Any closer place? Do they have it in DK books or Kad Suan Kaew?

Thanks Uptheos, I found it at DK books for the moment (just 2 pieces to wrap a gift). But I have indeed seen it at the walking street, good point. I'll take a look there as well when I need to buy a larger quantity. Probably a good price direct from the maker.

There is one shop which has only saa paper in front of Vieng Joom on tea house on the road where there is Riverside restaurant. From Riverside drive toward nakorn ping bridge. After about 300 m from Riverside there is the pink tea house and opposite there is the saa paper shop. The owner manufacture the paper by itself and can provide large quantities.

HQ PaperMaker factory outlet (they produce and export) on Samlan Road, shop in the soi opposite Wat Phrasing entrance. Big green street signs all around there. Biggest collection of quality sa paper in Chiang Mai and couple of sheets no problem.
