Popular Post Lite Beer
Five million baht startup reward for the arrest of Suthep and associates BANGKOK: -- A group of businessmen has offered the United Front of Democracy against Dictatorship a five million baht cash as start-up reward for the arrest of protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban and the other core members of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee. UDD secretary-general Natthawut Saikua said Sunday that he expected the five million baht cash would be received today. He, however, declined to name the contributors saying only that they wanted peace and justice to be restored. One of the 12 Pheu Thai ministers targeted to be pursued by the PDRC, Mr Natthawut who is also caretaker deputy commerce minister, said that the “hunt” against the ministers in order to force their resignation amounted to an intimidation and a violation of individual’s right to freedom of movements. He said he would ask the Centre for the Administration of Peace and Order to appeal to the court to revoke the bail of PDRC core members, citing their “hunt” of the ministers which, he said, might lead to violence or unnecessarily put the safety of the ministers at risk. " It's a good thing that irony isn't lethal to the UDD, because Natthwaut " Burn them, burn them all " Saikua hasn't the slightest idea how good at irony he is. Of all people, to be talking about bail conditions, and of all people to be talking about intimidation. Nattawut is one of the 26 men who are all that is left of the Pheu Thai " administration ", a group of men who are reputedly to be terribly important and vital to the country. And we can see how terribly valuable and vital Nuttawut is, can't we ? A " group of businessmen " just happening to hand over 5 million baht to Nattawut ? Yeah, right.

djjamie
Don't suit the agenda, some agenda driven publicans will set up a reward for the capture of "Mandela of the East" Sounds a bit like the wild west and after seeing Jatuporns last "costume" in a previous OP I can see the fit here. What next? "Wanted Posters" on street corners with Suthep's face on it? Oh hang on…See below.. A principle of democracy is rule of law and the reds, yet again, will dismiss that principle to allow mob rule to prevail. I can imagine tumbleweed blowing down Democracy Monument at the crack of dawn tomorrow. BTW Godwin's law applies here as well...

fab4
Seems a bit low compared to what the senators 'allegedly' got in Singapore. I thought the senators were PDRC?? About 60 out of the 73 Appointed Senators are. I'd have to do some digging to work out the allegiances of the rest. Bear in mind surachai got 96 votes so I'd guess about another 30 plus are as well Appointed senator Somchai Sawaengkarn said the voting patterns of appointed senators show that 60 of the 73 appointed senators are in the anti-government camp. The remaining 13 are believed to be aligned with the government, Mr Somchai said. http://asiancorrespondent.com/121241/the-reason-why-the-thai-establishment-likes-appointed-senators/
