In a few weeks I want to check out Cha Am but unsure if I should stay in central HH or can you recommend a decent hotel in Cha Am around 1000 baht?

If I were to stay in Cha am is there somewhere to hire a moped?

Can you recommend nice beaches in CA?

I stayed in Cha Am two years ago at a couple of different hotels and found the ones along the beach to be more in the 2,000 baht range after some special prices. Not sure if there are more reasonable places or guesthouses. I also found things to be spread out and not a lot close by to the extend we went to Hua Hin to eat and look around. The town seems to be less touristy and more for families to visit the beach at the bigger hotels. Seemed to be little shopping or even large grocery stores in Cha Am. If you go suggest you book only a few days to keep options open in case you do not find it to your liking.
