Another possibility might be in Ban Tuwai, East (traffic signal in the middle of town) of Hang Dong. All sorts of woodworking is done there, and I recall seeing some fancy metal hardware, at least, in one of the retail shops. Ask around.

Dimly recall a place called Wood World on, I believe, the second ring road, between the Canal Road and Hang Dong Road. It was on the south side of the road.
