This is simply a factual request, not a complaint, must remain objective. For three days now I have been unable to open BBC News Website. I can open other parts within the Website, Sports News, for example. Are others experiencing the same?

Let me say, if BBC News site has been closed, I can understand why. For many months now, the BBC Bangkok reporter Jonathan Head has presented both written and video reports which appear to have favoured the incumbent (now gone) government, and without presenting the full facts pertaining to both sides in the protests.

Any feedback appreciated. I use TOT in Chiang Mai, by the way.

Ever since the first day of the coup there has been uninterrupted transmission of BBC World news by our local cable TV providers.

I understand That True Visions has stopped their BBC transmission but other carriers seem to be transmitting as normal.

If you are a True subscriber, I suggest you take it up with them.

OK here in Chiang Rai on TOT.

Suggest you check your DNS settings (the servers responsible for resolving url names to IP addresses). If you have Name/Pass to your modem/router you can manually set them to use google 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 -- This can resolve may issues , including slow page fetching.

My sympathies. I too have a censorship problem which is unresolved by Thai Visa experts one week on. My Daily Mail Sudoku page has not reappeared since the coup. Every other page is accessible yet graffic.png

Well of course Sudoku is being censored. All those numbers, requiring a certain pattern to work through.

Could hold encrypted messages that you're unwittingly deciphering for... who knows!

Does Sudoku require a work permit?
