Lopburi and shops selling western food.

Featured Replies

I live in the middle of nowhere and the nearest i get to western style food is at the 7/11.... so none ;( . If i ever go to a big city i stock up using a freezer box i've got. Having never looked around Lopburi and i'm visiting it due to a party next week i was woundering if anyone living there knew if any shops that sell such as sausages, pies, bacon etc. If so, good directions would be a big help, thanks.

You will I tihink be out of luck, I do know of any shops that sell what you want ,they are a few farang restaurant, one opposit Big C ,the main one not Big C 2,they might have a pie or 2 ,like a lot of Thai towns,no call for farang food.

Or keep going for 3 hours and buy what you need in bkk.

Don't know if it's any help but there are many places in Chang Mai that sell the western food you require, they all will send goodies to your local bus station for a small charge.

You will be able to look them up on TV C/M web page.

Hope this helps.

Sorry cant put any names on TV as they don't allow.

Find a local pig farmer and ask for the belly cuts and make your own bacon, the tricky bit is finding the curing salt, I found some at a Chinese chemist in Nakhon Sawnan.
