Ipratropium

Featured Replies

I suffer from perennial rhinitis, or rhinorrhea. I have for several years used the British branded medication Rinatec, which is a solution of ipratropium bromide in a metered spray. On the list at http://www.si.mahidol.ac.th/th/department/pediatrics/admin/news_files/109_2_1.pdf I have found " 0.3% Ipratropium nasal spray, 15 ml " which exactly describes the Rinatec I have used. But I have asked at several pharmacies for ipratropium and none has it, nor has ever heard of it. Where might I find it?

According to MIMs (directory of pharmaceuticals registered in Thailand) there is no brand of this registered for sale in Thailand, unfortunately. Possible that some of the hospitals have it as they can sometimes bring in drugs not registered in country.
