Redhawk Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 ...and who are the biggest gamblers in town...... because their is nothing more important to do and the rich play by bookmaker over the net outside the nation.... again the tail wiggles the dog! Cut the fun for the poor and you raise your badest enemies!
rkidlad Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Thank god! Let's keep Thailand the hub of perfect morality.
antimedia Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 What are they going to do, give one another a red card? Police policing in Thailand, I have never heard so much rubbish in all my life.
Oryx816 Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Wow! I am so glad to hear Thailand's problems have been solved that they are wasting time with this. I am not a gambler, nor do I condone it in excess, but surely there are more important issues to which they should tend. *** Side note: perhaps the political leadership should set a better example for the populace. I seem to recall a recent article referring to two recently detained politicians resorting to fisticuffs over a loss of significant money in a card game.
unanimosity Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Tut, tut. And in a Buddhist nation too. Is it considered real gambling when FIFA writes the scripts?

FangFerang Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 What about the red fight in custody over gambling ? -- seems gambling is an 'elite' behavior both sides always have enjoyed.
HeavyDrinker Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Incredible. They will have their work cut out as I've been grilled all night from the locals for my football knowledge. I got blank looks when I told them to find an Indian bookie and have a wallop on England to beat Sri Lanka this weekend
BillyBobThai Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 It has been going on for ages, even the religious , want a piece of the action.
khaowong1 Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 "anyone found gambling in excess of 10 million baht," Well, this will not effect many of you blokes here on TV will it?
Dogmatix Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Good luck them. Football gambling is operated by gangsters who encourage people who can afford to lose to bet on credit using young runners to find customers. When they lose the runners are responsible for collecting the bets and the gangsters send hitmen after them and the customers who can't pay. A Thai friend's son got mixed up with this scum while he was a university student. He ended up dropping out of uni and going into hiding upcountry for months while the thugs came round to threaten his mother and demand money from her. Somehow I doubt the police is really going to declare open season on this profitable evil. 1
