RS wins court battle, only 22 matches of Word Cup to be aired on free TVs

BANGKOK: -- Supreme Administrative Court Wednesday ruled in favour of RS, freeing it from the order of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission to air all 64 matches on free TVs.

The Supreme Administrative Court's ruling meant only 22 matches of the World Cup 2014 would be aired on free TVs.

Which 22 matches are they going to show on free TV. Does anyone have any info on this.

This is a real blow for people without True.

I used 365 Sport last season to watch the Premier League, hope they are offering something for the World Cup, does anyone know?

Thanks for that info. As I said, 365 sport coverage was good when I watched the Premier League. I'm not going back to True, they've messed me about enough already in the past. They aren't getting my money again.

And, even if I would go back to True, I bet they couldn't send a guy out to come and install everything in time for the start of the World Cup anyway!!

365Sport will do for me.

I'm happy. No longer sick as a parrot.

Had an extra True dish put in last week plus a RS box and a PSI box.

Don't give a toss if True cannot show all of the matches.

True still think they are the "King of Sports" yet they are looking like the "Pauper of Sports"

The NCPO pulled the legs off this one, because they have ordered all games to be aired on CH5 and CH7 both the army channels.

So this is just bluster and blow..... they are all accessible for free..... simple as that.

And so they should be.

There's a World Cup chart available from the Bangkok Post website that gives details of the games to be shown on Channel 7.

Indeed. Hardly a future vote winner if any of the True/RS/High Court big wigs have an eye on politics in the future.

I just came past my local moto boys on the way home from my walk and they are football mad. They were not impressed. I think once the military gauge public mood on this one, we won't have heard the end of this.

No real surprise in the verdict though, finding in favour of high level corporate school chums etc.

You have to blame the greedy bastards at FIFA as well but I guess someone has to pay for all their five star lifestyle and swank offices. The joke is they like to say they want the game to be more accessible to the 'football family' and then go and stage the 2022 WC in Qatar!

I will be streaming so it dies not effect me but I have to say that the World Cup should be FREE for all to watch I bet the 22 games that will be shown FREE will be the low level matches I feel sorry for the Thais who are getting ripped off by there own fellow countrymen same old story the eliitists ripping off the poor !!!!,
