BBC report Thai Junta say ALL games must be shown for FREE on TV

Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

Thanks for the info,

Good news for me.

But, strange if you look international laws, copyrights, ... It should be "free" only if Thai Junta pays the rights for us..... But.....TiT...

RS is asking 700 millions in fees in order to allow channel 5 and 7 to air all matches.

Of course, there is no under the table kickbacks involved whatsoever.

Now we're at worldcup chit chat.

As far as i can see the final is played at 02:00 Am local thai time.

Anyone know if there is a place in Lamai showing the final on big screen/projector instead of normal TV's?

Will be in Maenam from July 5-11 and Lamai July 11-22 but as far as i can see the most games are at 3 am in the night which may be a bit late just for "normal" games,

so i think the final is the only one i will be planning for.

And now since Denmark didn't qualify, my money is on Belgium as 2014 winners :)

Richard Barrow tweeted that RS wanted 766 million, but agreed to reduce to 427.015 million bt.

Now all matches are confirmed to be broadcast on Thai military channel 5 & 7.

(This morning Thai newspapers only reported 700 million though.)
