Twice now I have noted a huge storage park of brand new heavy construction equipment. All shiny and new in its yellow paintwork. Just where the 36 and 7 highways meet on the left hand side. It is certainly getting more filled up as time goes by, must be many millions worth sitting there.

Apart from a couple of big projects up around Lake Mapbrachan, which also have very adequate amounts of new-ish equipment, I have no idea what all these machines might be used for. These projects are at the Pong end and diagonally opposite at the end of Soi Siam Country Club Road. Lots of rumours but no real idea what is happening there.

Anyone knowing what the forthcoming works are for?

I would imagine they are for the motorway 7 extension all the way to Ban Chang which is due to start soon.

We are getting a new Toll stop. Isn't that thrilling?
