chooka Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 The Jet Ski operators like to threaten tourists with firearms, might be a good place to start and you could kill two birds with one stone.
LivinginKata Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 The Jet Ski operators like to threaten tourists with firearms, might be a good place to start and you could kill two birds with one stone. And many Tuk Tuk/taxi drivers carry firearms. 1
IamNoone88 Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Looks like a half arsed effort with a single arrest. If the job had been properly in the first place, then would have been fewer weapons on the streets to begin with. They even let that gun totting drug dealing Australian out on bail after they caught him red handed. It needs General's P's hard hand down here for a few months. 1
nedkellylives Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Gun ownership laws re very slack here but not as bad as the USA and some third world countries Only one mass killing by a nutcase in Tasmania australia and the govt brought new gun laws in straight away You always had to have a reason to own a firearm in Australia like owning a farm and needing one to control wermin Under the changed laws they made it harder to own a forearm and restricted the types of weapons you could own Shotguns single or twin barrel only, rifles only repeater type were you hand load each bullet with a maximum magazine capacity of 5 rounds, Handguns forget it nearly imposible for a private person to own and all weapons must be kept in a gun safe Very rare for anyone apart from criminals to be shot in Australia
