You do not need to register her birth via the embassy.

As she was born after 1/6/2006, that you are not married to her mother is irrelevant; if you are British otherwise than by descent then she is British (see first part of British citizenship basics).

As she is resident in Thailand, she has to apply in Thailand; you cannot apply in the UK for her.

You will need your long form birth certificate for her application.

Click here for applying in Thailand.

I don't think so.

A parent or guardian does have to sign the form; but I assume her mother can do so.

You will need to send her mother your long form birth certificate and any of the other supporting documents you have as they must be submitted with the application.

If you don't have your long form birth certificate, you can obtain a copy from the GRO. See here for the process depending on where in the UK you were born.

You must send the original or a certified copy from the GRO.

Hi can any one confirm that there are places near the Trendy building or pattaya where we can get all our documents officially translated. If so can anyone recommend a company.

Many thanks
