CityNews - The National Council for Peace and Order’s (NCPO) have declared that their program to regulate and safeguard the commercial transportation system - eliminating the taxi mafias who extort money from drivers and overcharge tourists (as we reported here) - will be measurably successful by the end of the month, when preventative measures will be firmly in place.

yeah right :(

why dont they sort out the jet ski scam in pattaya

that has scamed tourists out of thousands of baht every day for years

not a few baht by a tuk tuk driver up here !

the intention is good but like all new rules they will

be ignored in weeks ... if not days :)

dave2... would like to believe it ... but i dont !

ps .. blue and yellow cabs , tuk tuks and songthews are all taxis in my book !
