Private Hospitals in Bangkok - Not to Expensive, requesting advice

Featured Replies

I am looking to find a hospital close to a BTS that is not in the same expensive range as Bumagrad, Bkk Hospital, BNH ect...

Not looking for hard core specialist, but it is time for a bunch of test etc and I really should do one of those packages to make sure problems are not developing.

Does anyone have any comments on Mission, Christian or St Louis (close to BTS) or any others. I also would prefer to avoid super long waits that some hospitals seem to almost encourage.

Also, I don't speak Thai.

Thanks in advance people.

a private cheap hospital?

a bunch of tests?

a package deal?

why not sign up for the farang med.card 2,800bht.

includes,blood pressure check,

blood test,

and a interview with a doctor.

All I can add is that we used BNH because Bumrungrad had become too pricey and they get pretty pissy if you want to buy your medication elsewhere.

BNH was great for us.

The foreigner health card has never been available in the Bangkok area and has been rescinded in some other provinces as well.

Bangkok Christian and St Louis Hospitals would both fit the needs described.

For check-ups, I have found St Louis to do a much better job of reviewing the results.

Never found any private hospital in Thailand to have long waits.

Paolo Hospital. I made the switch and been very happy. Not all staff speak English, but you will survive, they have translators. Never had any serious health issues for them to address, though, so I can't say how specialized they are. Looks like they have a large bone and joint center. thumbsup.gif
