New Google Checkout

Just read that Google Checkout, a PayPal alternative(?) was launched early this morning.

Apparently transaction fees are lower, roughly by 2/3 of PayPal’s basic rates (as from TechCrunch review) .

Will Google Checkout be available, will it benefit people with a TH bank account and/or address?

Personally I’d use it if I can get it New Zealand - but alas Google Checkout is US only for now (p.s. even PayPal after all these years is still not available in $NZ)
