Say for a 1 hour walk, how to protect yourself sensibly in this climate?

I enjoy walking in the rain.

Not so much riding, though.

Agreed. The title is a little strange.

Maybe I have been here too long, but the rain now feels cold to me.

However it is a great time to drag my fat @rse and the mutt out for a run.

I like walking in warm rain. However, a bit of caution is advised if the warm rain is yellow.

Bit of advice to walking in the rain at this time of year, don't go out with stainless steel walking sticks or golf clubs in flat open areas.........................

OP HERE = Admitted, I was a bit cryptic.

Walking in soaking wet shoes can become very painful.

What very light shoe wear do you like?

Columbia brand. Very light. Bought ours in the US before coming. Mine is a Coleman and is very hot. My daughter's is the Columbian and she loves it.

OK, so that's what you meant.

I would wear flip flops when walking in rain. You're eventually going to hit puddle or something that will ruin shoes. Jacket? I wouldn't. The thing I like about rain in Thailand is it is cools you down. Any jacket would probably make you sweat. Umbrella is your best bet.

P.S. still avoid walking under balconies and yellow rain.

I walk/run/bike/birdwatch in the rain. Wearing a Poncho I get just as soaked anyway as I perspire like an ape.

Follow this young women's lead. If you're a bloke then you don't need to bother with the top half of the outfit. You can sing a merry song if you're feeling gay.

Flip flops and no poncho/jacket.

555, the 1st time my wife saw snow, she said "Nice, but now i have seen it, I wanna go back to Thailand as it is too .... Cold

So now we are only going to Europe in Summer.
