Hi.

I'd be grateful if someone tells me of a shop/service in Chiangmai that will replace an iPhone 4's broken screen at reasonable cost?

Thanks

KSK shopping mall, ground floor, at the other end of Tops supermarket. There are a few flights of stairs going up to the indoor market like sapce. Don't go up the steps. The shop is just to the right of the stairs.
Cost around 1400 baht.

Of course they don't use original, parts, so the screen won't be as good as your original screen.

Or you can go to the Apple dealer service centre. Same mall, fourth or fifth floor. They have a shop on the first floor near BKK Bank and Sizzler. They'll direct you to the service centre, which is harder to find as it's tucked away in a corner.

Dtac have a special deal on iPhone 4s at 3k baht with a 12 month contract.

Can you give a rough idea on what a 12 month contract would cost. I can go ask them of course, but just in case you have that figure in your head ... Although I suppose there are an infinite number of 12 month packages...oh well. Thanks again.

399/599/899 baht packages

I'm sure the other telcos have similar offers. Best to shop around. Airport Plaza, 4 th floor or central Festival is where you'll find all the major vendors.

My mum on a visit in December had hers repaired while we waited at Panthip Plaza. Ground floor, little booth by the centrw doors (where they sometimes have those clothes stalls). Very good and quick, and cheap. I also had a new power switch put in for 50 baht (took just under an hour).
