PATTAYA:--On Wednesday afternoon Pattaya Police announced the arrest of two men, thought to be part of a 6-man-gang, who regularly target foreigners wearing expensive gold necklaces.

Khun Sutin, thought to be the leader of the gang, and Khun Pacharapon aged 20 were arrested at a rented apartment in Soi Buakhao earlier on Wednesday. It was known that the remaining 4 gang members were living there as well but were not present when Police conducted a raid of the apartment.

It is thought the two arrestees were involved in a necklace snatch on 29th July at the Suksabai Villas in South Pattaya.

It's common knowledge that scumbags come from all over Thailand to prey on victims both Thai and Farang in Pattaya and Phuket and other resorts as well.

If rule #1 in Thailand is don't rent jet skis, rule #2 has to be don't wear gold necklaces in public. tongue.png facepalm.gif
