Need to spend two days in Laos ay at chiang saen crossing
1) When all of this started a few months ago, it was 1 night in Laos at Chiang Saen, or 2 nights in Laos at Chiang Khong. Chiang Khong switched to 1 night for a while but appears to have switched back to 2 nights. Up until now I've never heard anything different about Chiang Saen, so that one appears to still be at 1 night in Laos. 2) Reports are that the "overnight" rule is only applying to those without a visa, and entering visa exempt. While one report says that the Thai said told them they could not return the same day without spending the night, but they returned immediately with their multiple entry non-O and were let in normally. -

LTR Visa is Now available for Long Term Residency
Thanks for the replies! I cannot provide an income tax return as cap gains in General do not turn up on tax statements in Germany as they are handled directly by the bank. In addition the idea is to not pay taxes on cap gains and either being in TH or an other country without cap gains when cap gains arise 😉 But as always this is Thailand. Even when in TH for 2 years before applying one cannot provide the needed docs for LTR in the case of cap gains as those gains are currently not taxable when not transmitted 🙂 -

Means very little. The ICC is about as useful as the UN. If Hamas didn't do the Oct 7 atrocities, didn't take hostages and doesn't use human shields this conversation wouldn't be happening. One large city is not proof of anything. One need only look at some of Istanbul's cities that experienced recent earthquakes. They are scarred collapsed buildings and failed infrastructure due to shoddy construction. The article boasts of "proven expertise in cutting production costs by using 75% locally sourced parts, slashing expenses by up to 20% compared to imported options." and it was because of that strategy that so many of Turkey's buildings collapsed during the earth tremors. -

That may be so but it does not excuse deplorable behaviour in another country who was hosting him, right or wrong it was very wrong and he should be dealt with severely fined heavily and deported forthwith, sexual assault is unacceptable in any country, women should be able to walk through life without some lowlife scroat treating her with abject disrespect.
