where to find lactose pills in Thailand?

Featured Replies

Hello good people,

I'm severely lactose intolerant. In the United States, they sell lactose pills at local pharmacies that one can take as one consumes dairy products (like pizza and ice cream). But I've been hard-pressed to find the equivalent here and I've run out of mine.

After a nice day of touring, hiking, and eating Thai food, I frequently crave ice cream but without the pills I'd get sever stomach cramps, severe flatulance, as well as diarrhea (sorry for being graphic sick.gif ). Naturally, anything else with cream or butter (Thai iced tea, cakes, etc.) are off limits as well.

Thanks for any tips coming this way.

Capsules to deal with lactose intolerance ...  you can find Lactomin in most pharmacies. I've purchased it at Boots and Fascino and seen it in other pharmacies. Has worked well for me.
