Where on the sukhumvit bts line can i get a professional CV-type photo, for work and applying to jobs. Somewhere that can either burn it to disc or put them on a thumb drive for me. Thanks

I'm sure you have a photograph of yourself somewhere where you are dressed in business attire (facebook, buried deep in subfolders on your hard drive, etc.).  Find it.  Then open it and crop it down to the size you need.  Paste it on your word document.  I don't know if there is a business or photo shop that takes pictures for the purpose of a CV.  I've never seen it offered.  I suppose you would just go to the same place you would go for passport pictures. 

People put their mug shots on cv's here? Really? I was always told that is cheesy, like glossy, brightly colored business cards.

 

I guess that confirms Iwantto's claim (on another thread) that they only want to hire good looking and/or pretty people ahead of any education or work skills.

 

Or maybe there's been a downturn in the farang model market?

 

I also note with dismay the OP's rather narrow search area of BTS Sukhumvit. Talk about watching the pennies baht.

Get the BTS to Phloen Chit. Get out at exit 2. You will see Language Express in front of you. Take the right hand road beside it. On the right hand side of the street there's a photo store that'll take your photo and burn it or put it on your USB for you- nice and friendly, speedy too.

What does this post even mean? Guy asks for where he can get a photo taken, and this drivel pours out after.

its a kind of national thing if you put foto on CV-again the tipical TV-user seems completely unaware of such things.

And poster: have brains? ANY shop that (still) does fotoservice can do it and by now they are all also so advanced they can put it on your USB-same as foto for passprt/ID- reusuable if the need arises. Are such things really that hard to even think of?

Big Photo will photoshop by default you mug on to a suit, ( and will be rejected by emabsseys as a pic as they know this)

Top of Soi 4 and Sukumbvit, on Left as you go down, photo shop. Bring a USB stick and they'll put the image on there. They're fast, professional and reasonably priced.
