Want buy Nokia 1280 phone

Featured Replies

Would like in new, or hardly-used condition. No longer sold in stores. Pls let me know if you have, or know who has. Thanks.

I gotta ask WHY? There are SO many Nokia phones with the same specifications

You might want to try your luck in MBK (you'll need to budget an entire day, I suspect). When I was there a lot of the vendors were trying to sell me obsolete models, so you may well find what you want there. Whether its for a good price/value, however, I really couldn't say (per casualbiker, surely you could find something better? Microsoft/Nokia have not demonstrated much interest in supporting older models. They just announced Skype for win phone 7 is retired, for example, and Microsoft *owns* Skype!)

There are a couple on ebay for 2 to 3,000 baht.

Thanks everyone. I want that model because it is the last black-and-white screen basic phone that Nokia made. Color/bright screens strain my eyes; I've had vendors dim down the new models but the colors are still too bright. Is there some way to turn the screen b-and-w? The Nokia 1280 also has v.good battery, works well, and is large enough for my large hands. And I am not into smartphones, although I would adjust if I could find one that fits my needs.

BTW, I did not find a 1280 at MBK 4th fl.

Any advice appreciated.
