What kind of pet do you have in Chiangmai?

Featured Replies

Not sure if I should post in Pet Forum. But as my current is in Chiangmai, I guess it's allowed to post here.

We adopted a femal beagle whose her owner ignored her, her find her own food and sleep on the road. We took her to the vet for any type of vaccination she may need. She is about 2.5-3 years old. We named her "Sweetie"

The story is too long. I don't want to bored you guys.

Anyone care to share about your pets?

Beagles are a great breed.

Beautiful looking dog you have and very lucky to find it as a stray. Most Thai street dogs are cross bred mutts.

They are funny dogs, always trying to sniff for something, I see why they make great drug sniffing dogs in airports.

OP, nice looking dog, you got there.

I got a gerbil, for a pet, but then again I don't live in Chiang Mai.

At the moment, I'm teaching him various tricks.

Fast learners those things.

Thanks. We adopted her since the first day we moved to Doi Saket on July 15. She never played. I bought her a ball but he has no idea what to do with it.

I assume that she lost her spirit when she lost her 4puppies. Then her owner abandoned her. They offer B4,000 for their lost Chihuahua. But not not about her or the other two from what I heard. I have people stopped by at my new house several times in two weeks. She is very friendly to kids and most people around there feed her in the past.

It's quite a story. If you guys want to hear I will be more than happy to share. Perhaps on my way back to Chiangmai tomorrow night as I am in Bangkok visiting my mom. [attachment=279493:ImageUploadedByThaivisa Connect Thailand1408191454.101689.jpg]

PS: if this thread suppose to be in "pet" forum, please feel free to do so.

Thank you. It's cute.

My dog used to howl the first day we met, a sad howl. She does not do it anymore. Only gets crazy and barks when she sees cat, silly dog :-p

I'm more of a cat person. Many homeless cats around here too. Unfortunately, I cannot keep them in my flat.

I lost the cat I had in BKK before. Left me devastated... sad.png

Only if you have a sense of humour.rolleyes.gif

Got a dog, had rats and pigeons. The dog just watched on as the pigeons ate her food. The rats gnawed through the electrics in the roof, and were just unpleasant.

So last week I got a cat. The cat sorted out the rat and pigeon problem in no time, but seems to have upset the dog and now hides in the utility room, coming out only for food and to sit in the kitchen awaiting the rats all night.

Stupid dog.

As far as my young grand kids know in Thailand I have a mongoose and a young elephant as pets. I have to write and tell them about our adventures every now and then.
