English speaking social group, Kanchanaburi.

Featured Replies

Can anyone help me find a contact in Kanchanaburi province?

What exactly are you looking for?

Thanks for reply.

I had a title; English speaking social group.

So I'm looking for English speaking company, I have many Thai friends but my Thai language is very limited,

as is the scope of conversation. Thanks, Alan

There is a group of guys that raise money for local charities "old farts". If you are in the main town pop down to Aussie Rules Bar and speak to Bob (The owner) There are some interesting characters around, but also some really nice people.

Thanks for the info. I'll try Aussie Rules.

Any further ideas welcome!

"Aussie-Rules" and the surrounding watering wholes can be called english speaking "social groups".

Hard to give you any meaningful advise, since you don't specify what your meaning of a "social-group" is. A social group can be a bunch of pot-smoking dutch backpackers or folks that like to listen to Mozart in a tropical climate.

Be brave, out yourself and take a peek at "Aussie-Rules" and then report back here.

Cheers.

By social group I mean people with whom I can discuss any topics of common interest.

Where to find & how to get whatever, current affairs, entertainment etc.

I'm back in Thai in a month, I'll certainly check in at Aussie rules. Thanks
