Any floodings along the river by now ??

Rivers are not flooding. It's just CM is experiencing drainage problems from the neglect of their infrastructure. .

Now that its started raining in earnest,i am sure they will realize that

the drains need cleaning,as usual something happens,THEN something

gets done about it,been proactive does not seem to be on the agenda

here.

I have seen them cleaning drainage ditches for a couple months already.

I have seen them cleaning drainage ditches for a couple months already.

It's not total neglect. There's just not the budget to finance the larger projects required to address the areas that seem to flood every year. Hopefully, the publicity the flooding is getting will bring in some more resources to these areas.

Not to worry about flooding any more. If the rain keeps falling heavily, they will just close the new dam South of the city and back up the water until the city is not flooded. thats why they put the dam after the water has passed the city......
