I am here on a 3 entry tourist visa and have had my 60 day stamp but I will need to have my 30 day extension stamp at the beginning of October, I have never done this before can somebody give me advice as to what I need to do, take and where I need to go, I'm staying on Samui

Go to Nathon. If you cannot find ask a taxi to take you

Take your passport

I always carry passport photos with me just in case everytime I go immigration

I know the office is moving to Manam soon but don't know when

Check the date on your visa make sure it has not expired. Common mistake is people don't check the date the visa expires they assume they have an extra entry every 90 days until they get to the border then they have a problem

Good luck

Ps I would go a few days early just jn case any problems then u have time to leave the country also try to avoid Monday mornings and Fridays and check for government holidays or they shall be closed during government holidays and your journey waisted and don't think too can get away with an overstay due to government holiday

Yes, you can go early, you will not loose any days.

The extension will start when your current permission of stay ends.

Avoid Mondays and Fridays and before/after holidays as ques are longer.

Normally takes over a hour to process, so hand in the application and go for a meal.

Download the application form here and print on one page.
