KOH SAMUI: -- A 48-year-old man drowned after he jumped over a Samai ferry in front of many tourists when it was about to dock the Donsak Pier at 10:30 am.


The man was identified as Wirat Chompusalung from Nakhon Ratchasima. His relatives said the man suffered from a mental problem and thought someone wanted to kill him.

Man drowned after falling off the Raja Ferry from Samui to Donsak

SAMUI: -- This morning an incident occurred on the number 5 Raja Ferry on the service from Samui to Donsak. Sometime during the journey there was a call of man overboard.

One eye witness said that the man was being sick over the side of the boat when he lost his footing, a second eye witness report said that the man jumped. Police are now investigating the cause of the man’s death who came from Nakornratchasrima
