Best hotel around Suk soi 8?

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend from staying there?

Thanks!

The Adelphi is good, especially the suites. Good food downstairs in the Monsoon restaurant as well, you can use it for room service too.

Was just looking at that place. Looks nice.

Thankyou!

^^^ This. I've stayed there previously, nice rooms, great location.

You don't say what your budget is but Citadines Soi 8 is a good medium price range hotel with small kitchinettes provided as standard!

Yes, please tell us your budget. Also, this is probably best over in the Bangkok forum. So....

Budget is perhaps 2 or 3k baht a night.

Prefer a balcony if anyone can think where might have.

Landmark is just a short walk.

Second the Landmark

Dynasty Grande in soi 6 is a good hotel with large rooms, large comfortable beds, good TV, safe, excellent staff and good size swimming pool, all for say 2k baht (b/fast not included). However I do not remember them having balcony rooms, expressed as a preference in a later posting by the OP. But I last stayed 4 years ago and I know they have done some conversion work - also I always stayed in the slightly cheaper 'extension building' - maybe the main block had balconies, but don't think so.

Recommended (note that there's a cut through into soi 8 which makes it a 3 minute walk), but check for balcony first OP.

I third for Adelphi. Stayed there and their sister places on Soi 2 & 41. Very roomy, clean, easy to deal with people and facilities.
