90 days report in Patong

Featured Replies

Today I went to do my 90 days report in Patong. It was quite early, so I was the only one in the office. All went quickly, just scan the barcode of the old notice, then the lady asked me about the address. Yes - still the same. Ok, print out, done. About 2 minutes at most.

And then: "100 Baht Service Charge, please."

I told her, that I never had to pay for the report.

"Everything new now."

I asked if I will get a receipt.

"No, we don't give a receipt."

I said, ok - no receipt - no money.

"But next time you will have to pay."

Next time I will report in Phuket Town, for sure. I might have given some tip for the quick service, but never like that dry.png

try to extend a tourist visa, they wont give you extension of you don't pay service charge!

@hkt: I can imagine your body language and steering during that discussion. It would have been great fun to see :)

Well done.

Just wait till I get my smart phone peeping out of my top pocket with the video running.

Youtube here I come! :D

You should have said, "Service charge. Is that same same as bar fine?" and walked out laughing. biggrin.png

They really do have some nerve to say "But next time you will have to pay."

I think with "next time you will have to pay" she means really "I was not lucky today will try it again next time". smile.png
