Hi!

Im gonna travel Southeast Asia for 4 month starting 14th Oct. I have diabetes type 1 so I have to buy cartridges of insulin ampoules or disposable flex-pens and planing to do so in Bangkok. The brand I use is Novorapid and Levemir.

So what I wonder is where should I buy it?

How much does it cost?

Do I need a recipe from a thai doctor?(read that a recipe from my country won't be legit?)

In that case where should I go?

And what does it cost?

Im bringing enough test sticks and needles to last the whole stay but in case I need more I wonder what bloodsugarmeter brand is most usual? I now got Freestyle lite.

Im getting extra stuff from my hospital so I figures I can ask to get whats easiest to obtain in Bangkok.

Any general tips of storage, border complications or just about having diabetes in Southeast Asia is most welcome!

Thanks!
