Thanks to all of you. What I like most are those which are not triggered by just any power failure. Assume power is stopped for repairs during the day, emergency light goes on, battery is drained. Will the recharge occur in time when there is the real need.?

They all have an off switch so if a minor daytime issue switch it off and it keeps its charge.

As far as I have seen they all turn on when power goes off, unless overridden. After all that is their sole purpose.
