Popular Post Jeremy50 Posted September 29, 2014 Popular Post Posted September 29, 2014 I don't think I have met an aggressive acoustic guitar player in my life. Why exactly would you go from being a gentle player of guitar ballads on a tropical beach to suddenly becoming a ruthless , predatory and cold blooded murderer? 6
Popular Post Commerce Posted September 29, 2014 Popular Post Posted September 29, 2014 "Investigators Sunday seized three guitars from a shelter of Myanmar workers for examination. One of them was hidden without anyone admitting ownership but the other two had owners, police sources said." I have never in my life ever seen 3 guys on a beach with a guitar each! Even Thais....... who have a heck of a lot more dosh that Myanamar workers, do not sit with a guitar each, in fact neither do FARANG. The stitch up begins, because the mafia has paid! Disgusting.......... and I hope, for all wanton goodness, the international media doesn't buy this for a second, if it is pulled off - for the sakes of the families involved...... TRUE closure is required. Thai closure being DOSH, of course. SICK bastards 3
Popular Post seajae Posted September 29, 2014 Popular Post Posted September 29, 2014 anyone starting to get the feeling that the fbi was hunted away was so they couldnt find the real killers and instead let them simply blame someone not from the island, certainly starting to look that way. 3
Commerce Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 The guitars maybe the key to the whole case. They need to pick three warm bodies, no strings attached and try to saddle them with the crime. Meanwhile the three guitar players gently weep. Come on mate,,,,,,,, if you want to go that route, they were obviously in the wrong neck of the woods, and all keyed up. The police are simply bridging gaps to cover the hole they made, and tuned in on the wrong fretted motive. In essence, it's flat! 2

The police raided the sleeping quarters of some Burmese workers, found 3 guitars, one of which no one claimed. ownership. That's all. Please calm down and try to control your hysterics. 5
bigjules007 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 It is believed that Frankenstein, the Wolfman and Dracula have all gone into hiding after this latest development. 1
ironryon Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 It's a tiny island - other people close by must have heard the comotion as I suspect the only reason she got battered so bad is because she put up such a good fight and I find it impossible to beleive that people on the island don't know who did this...it's BS 2

yougivemebaby Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Clearly they are just hoping to get a hit with all these accusations. Who will the police blame for their failures this time? 1
cowboy country Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 "Investigators Sunday seized three guitars from a shelter of Myanmar workers for examination. One of them was hidden without anyone admitting ownership but the other two had owners, police sources said." From the above description, it is difficult to conclude if the guitars have any significance to solving the case, or the investigators want to sit down with the workers and sing Kumbaya. At least the article explained what the a "blood stained hoe" was. This way one can ascertain that it wasn't going to sing along. "Koh Tao, boasting white sand beaches and azure waters, draws hordes of foreign tourists to its "full moon" parties." Leave it to TAT to get in a plug to still draw tourists to Koh Tao. Yeah they can't even get that right.. Here's a clue.TAT..Full moon Party is on Koh Phanghan.. Perps come from Koh tao... Anyone seen in a bikini with a guitar could be in huge trouble.. 1
angiolo Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Well most of us think that there will be scapegoats and trumped up evidence. I also think that this will be the case. Saves face and people will believe the Thai police are fantastic.Well maybe some will be convinced including TAT. 1
ClutchClark Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 They should by now have learned to keep their mouths shut until they have arrested someone with a positive DNA match. Tell a lie often enough does not apply in this case. You should have focused on the part where it said, "The Media Reported Monday".This is a collection of old news that the Media simply re-hashed so it could make a new headline to sell more papers. But everyone prefers to bash the Police and I sure don't want to spoil your fun. 1
balo Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 I think the bloody guitar did it! But the question that remains is if it was Sean McAnnas guitar or one of the Burmese guitars who was responsible, I guess we will never find out until some of them decides to come forward and play a song .
ClutchClark Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 What a difference a week makes. Last week most posters on TV wanted to string up anyone and everyone but here we are one week later and most posters are cracking jokes about the murders. By next week no one will even remember. 1

Joke's are not concerning the murders... it is on the ineptitude of the BIB. We are all still broken hearted.... humour keeps one alive in dire times - remember that.. Clarky. If you've lived in Thailand long enough, then you know where this is going...... but it wil NEVER be forgotten. Recuerdos de la Koh Tao...... I might just write it myself! 6
krislarter Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 What happened to the 85% complete case, and the imminent arrests? What happened to the new eye witness? Was there any finger prints anywhere? (hoe) Too many questions.

smokie36 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Its going to be very tough to beat a confession out of someone now methinks with the media glare on this case....added to tampering with DNA evidence and getting a court to look the other way for a week or more.......tough tough job. Might be easier to just arrest the real perps......

Umm yes of course. ,..........................
Loles Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 So now there is a new line: football team. So, the 3 suspects probably: 1. Big Foot 2. ET and 3. Captain Jack Sparrow. This investigatrion is a comedy from a full amateur team.
masuk Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 So glad they clarified the definition of "hoe". Wouldn't want anyone jumping to the wrong conclusion there...... English speaking countries know that a hoe is used in gardening. However, the US have managed to put a totally different meaning on it, thus the explanation.
slygeeza Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 I don't think I have met an aggressive acoustic guitar player in my life. Why exactly would you go from being a gentle player of guitar ballads on a tropical beach to suddenly becoming a ruthless , predatory and cold blooded murderer? I was attacked by one in walking st once, Im not sure if he could actually play because he kept asking for money, police said he was mafia and was above the law. so anyway, true story and disproves your theory as far as Im concerned
englishoak Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 This now sounds like the kind of thing youd get said in the first few days of an investigation not a few weeks... Total Farce 1
happydude303 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Just out of interest are there any British officers out there or not , If not then there bloody well should be to keep an eye on this operation to make sure that the wrong people don't get fitted up with the crime 1
noitom Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 London bookmakers make the Burmese in the shelter 2-1, the Thai football players at 3-1, and Thai beach resort workers and hustlers at 4-1, and foreigners at 5-1. The odds on the UK Embassy stepping in to the investigation are now 3-2.
SteveFong Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 we have long used the term "thailand hoe" very fondly around these parts however, after this, the term is forever tainted with sadness
bunglebag Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 DNA Mon, his brother, his sons and nephews. All of them and definitely those that were allegedly in Bangkok too, and don't let the local police touch it. The real perpetrators MUST be brought to justice for this truly evil crime. Koh Tao will not recover fully for years unless true justice is brought and seen. No-one will be fooled by a cover up or scapegoat this time. 1
