webfact Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 3 Million Baht Boat Fire in South Pattaya BoatyardPATTAYA: -- On Thursday Morning a 3 Million Baht Speed Boat burst into flames and was completely destroyed inside a Boatyard in South Pattaya.Khun Soranon aged 57, is the owner of the NPSK Marine Company based on the Sukhumvit Road and contacted the Pattaya Fire Rescue Service who made their way to the boatyard to deal with the fire which had engulfed a 33ft Twin-Engine Speedboat. The boat belonged to a friend of Khun Soranon, who thinks that sparks from a Welding Power Supply, being used in an adjacent plot of land which is soon to become a Market, were carried over to the yard by high winds, and fell onto the boat.Full story: http://www.pattayaone.net/pattaya-news/148231/3-million-baht-boat-fire-in-south-pattaya-boatyard/-- Pattaya One 2014-10-03
Popular Post monkey4u Posted October 3, 2014 Popular Post Posted October 3, 2014 Just wondering why do the police RUSH to events and the fire brigade only Make their way there 4
Nuddy Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Just wondering why do the police RUSH to events and the fire brigade only Make their way there Its the size of the vehicles in relation to the size of the roads.
IAMHERE Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Just wondering why do the police RUSH to events and the fire brigade only Make their way there I believe it has to do with the siren used by each ?
vision2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 I was hoping that this was a story about the speed boats at Bali Hai pier being torched. Too bad 2
Nemesis7 Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Something doesn't sound right here.... Hope the insurance company buys the story and hope no dead body was found inside the boat, you never know these days in Thailand what's normal or abnormal anymore , it seems anything is possible ...
besth Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 I saw it as it was happening and the cars on the road would not bother to move one inch to make easier access for the fire trucks. Unbelievably selfish
Halion Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 A spark from a welding torch carried in the strong wind, rater doubtful at best.
soihok Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Unless it was oxy/acetylene burning gear being used, blowing in the direction of the boat. Would have to be quite close though (or from a higher elevation).
