asoke police checks, pepper spray

Featured Replies

hello, i'm considering mailing a local friend some 'dog repellent' / pepper spray, and having it labeled dog repellent, then obtaining it while visiting and carrying it around for my own protection. i'm curious, if anyone would guess worse case scenario, preferably from experience, if say,

i was stopped at one of those random police check/empty your pockets things....

I thought canisters of compressed gas are difficult to ship?

Or are you describing a canister that needs to be "pumped" each time it squirts?

Are you really that frightened of dogs? If so, then traveling to the Land of Soi Dogs is going to a very traumatic experience.

Have you actually found a need to use it? Or is it mostly just for the peace-of-mind having it offers?

You can buy all sorts of dirivitives of pepper spray at certain street stalls and shops near police stations the last time I looked.

However, it is classed as a dangerous weapon, probably illegal and therefore I feel any more discusion will get board members in trouble.
