UK MPs back Palestinian statehood

Featured Replies

that garbage is not a fact, the fact is prior to 1948 the lower levant was called 'Palestine' in ANY old map or newspaper you will see the lower levant labled 'Palestine' during the ottoman empire, and 'Palestine' or 'British Palestine' during the british administration. Zionist terrorists expelled 800,000 palestinians to create israel, today there are still 4 million palestinians confined to gaza and the 'west bank' and they are stateless because israel is a jewish state and it does not give them equal citizenship because they are not jews and if they were nationalised then it would become a bi-national state.. There is (appox) 5 million people there that call their country 'israel' and 5 million that call it 'palestine' so let them decide what they want to be called, who are you to name their country for them.. what do the neo-cons think they should call it .. 'islamreal'

The palestinians are the indigenous population, despite your racism, they are not 'debt-ridden peasants and if they are it's just because racists stole everything from them.

Another Red Herring. No one has ever mentioned "From Time Immemorial" on this forum, besides you. I have never heard of it otherwise. The land was owned by absentee landlords in Arabs in Cairo, Beirut and Damascus that were part of the Ottoman Empire. About 80 percent of the Palestinian Arabs were debt-ridden peasants, semi-nomads and Bedouins. There is no disputing that fact.

If it is true that about 80% of the Palestinian Arabs were debt-ridden peasants, semi-nomads and Bedouins then, due to the economics and demographics of the area at the time, so were a similar percentage of Palestinian Jews.

UlysseseG, all your arguments against accepting the existence a state of Palestine apply equally to the state of Israel; a state which did not exist before 1948!

Fortunately, for both the Palestinians and the Israelis, most people do not fall for your argument.

....according to historical maps..

..the state of Palestine has been encroached up to the point that approximately 1% of their original land 'is theirs'.....

There has never - ever - been a state of Palestine and very few Palestinian Arabs owned any land before 1948. What are you talking about?

This vote means the British government will recognize Palestine after a peace deal is reached between Israel and the Palestinians. It has not changed the status quo.

Palestine never existed, of course we all know that to be true, but what is irrefutable evidence in the Bible is that a people called Samaritans lived amongst the then people in power who shunned them.

Everyone deserves a place to call home and that includes Palestinians.... period

Jews should understand this better than anyone.... coffee1.gif
