Thai Language schools in the north of Phuket

Featured Replies

I have seen a lot of information about Thai language schools located around Patong/ South of Phuket, but Im looking for a school located in the North of Phuket, possibly near the airport or in the Thalang area. Are there any schools in that area or are they all located in the tourist areas?

Im coming towards the end of my extension of stay with a work permit and I am looking to try something new, getting an ED visa whilst improving my Thai.

Any recommendations are appreciated, thanks.

there is a sign not far from tesco thalang same side offering thai classes with education visa. don't know how legit that school is, but quite few schools in dirty south getting their licence revoked..

Ok let me try again.

It seems that there are very limited Thai language schools in the North. What school would you recommend as close as possible. Ie phuket town/ central plaza area.

I'm looking for a legitimate Thai language school as I am interested in learning. I'm not interested in a school that just gives you the visa and doesn't expect you to show up to lessons.

Theres one on the way to Pahklok.

If you turn at heriones monument heading toward Ao po about 2km or so on the right youll see kajonkiet nursery. Just before that in the shophouses theres a thai language school there.

I was planning to set up a language school by the airport - I ditched the idea because the 'red tape' was too much hassle.

But I see a language school in the new condo/shop-house block that is directly opposite the government clinic in Nai Yang village, next to the temple. It has a banner-sign outside, next door to various new pharmacy shops.

I don't know if they teach Thai for foreigners, or just English for Thais...
