Hello all.

I've been away for a while due to health - had to go back toDenmark and it was a little more than I had expected.
I had infection in my leg ... called Rosen, pneumonia, a blood clot in my leg and was given the wrong medication so I got a bleeding ulcer too.
It was a tough trip but is now recovering but will have to wait to be able to come home because doctors do not dare let me fly because of the blood clut.I do however believe could return first in Decmber from this nightmare.
Until then, I hope that you take care of your selves and each other and the city.
Miss it all very much.

You must be bored to death that you miss Chiang Rai so much.

I wish you have a quick recovery so you can be with your beloved ones in your beloved city again.

Good luck

Best of luck with your current health issues...Chiang Rai will still be much the same when you return...take care of your health first...so you can enjoy your little piece of paradise when you return...

There's little to see in Chiang Rai itself. Gotta go out from there to see anything worthwhile, boring place. Once was enough. I do like to be beside the seaside..

Your life must be awful if you would rather live in an oven than Denmark

It scribbled. in its usual "know everything" style.

Best of luck getting healthy and getting back quickly and safely. Everything will be waiting

I am sure so just be patient. thumbsup.gif

I found CR a lovely place. The hot springs, CR beach to chill out and some great seafood, the hills, waterfalls, beautiful Khao Soy and a very chilled city with a great Saturday night market and dancing in the city centre. Liked it much better than CM. Got some great coffee there too.

CR area is lovely, the city it self is not much though I must admit, but much better IMO than CM.

Let us know if you decide to come back and we will stage a few murders, suicides, bag snatches and tourist scams for you to liven the place up and make you feel more at home.

Get well soon Brian.

Excuse the lack of response to your reply but I had to be hospitalized again because the ulcer began to bleed again - soanother surgery.
I hope all this now comes to an end and that I planned to return home to Chiang Rai soon.

Yes people are different and we like and love different things and places....and I love Chiang Rai what ever opinion other people may have about that.

Best wishes in your recovery Brian.

I have also just returned after being away for 6 months, it is wonderful to be back home.

Coming back to a place that you cherish will most certainly help with your recovery.

Peace.
