90 day report at Major Hollywood, Suksawat

Featured Replies

Sorry, I have searched but can't find any recent post on this, and the info on the immigration website is self-contradictory.

I have to make a 90 day report in Bangkok soon. Can anyone confirm from recent experience that the immigration office for 3 "nationalized labors" (Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia) inside the Major Hollywood movie theater on Thanon Suksawat is still accepting 90 day address reports from persons of other nationalities than those three specified? They were doing so earlier this year, but I believe this was a temporary measure during the protests.

I am trying to avoid a wasted trip. Thank you for your help.

I was at Chaeng Wattana this week and they had a sign up saying you could use Suksawat and Imperial World for your 90 day. The line was so long at CW that I went to IW and got it done in no time.

That is good news. I was dreading having to make a trip to Chaeng Wattana, and now it seems I can avoid it, and save both time and money.

Thank you for the quick response!

I was at Major Hollywood mid afternoon 3 weeks ago, only person reporting took all of 2 minutes to complete the process, much better than CW. You need passport and completed relevant form that the guy at the left side of the entrance can give you if necessary. Enjoy!

Yes, thank you, that is similar to my previous experience of reporting there last April. CW is always a nightmare and I am happy to avoid it whenever possible. Also, I can go to MH by 2 bus-rides each way for about 30 baht round-trip, while CW costs me about 800 in taxi fares and expressway tolls. I have not been able to figure out a way of getting there by bus . I shall anyway have to go there next January for a new annual extension. Can anyone recommend a reasonably simple way to go there by public transportation - from somewhere around Robinson, Bang Rak?
