Went to the party at Wat TungBarGet near MaeJo, loads of Khom Loys going up, bit of drizzle.

They handed us free Khom Loys as we entered which we let off, then over to see the dancing girls.

By that time it was tipping down again, so we came home.

Just let off a couple of khom loy's with my kid before it started raining again. It's really what you make of it. We had fun in spite of being stuck at home tonight.

Years ago (not quite The Olden Days) I asked my wife 'when does the rain stop' and she said November 15th. She was right.

We need as much rain as possible ,to fill up the reservoirs,as we are going

to suffer from water shortages next year,the dry season is a long time without

rain.
