water purifier tabs.aquatabs

Featured Replies

i live on a moo-ban and have had our water from the tessa-ban which has been excellent except for one time in 5yrs.

now the owner of the moo-ban wants to sell us his water, which is dirty and smelly.we have a 1,000ltr.tank.

so has anybody got any info on aquatabs which is used worldwide to purify water, not to drink but day to day useage

cleaning dishes showering ect.

most people on here[50houses] dont want it but we have no choice.

The "aquatab" almost certainly (I would think) contains chlorine compound(s) for the purification. You will be just as good to buy a 6-pack of bleach and put a cap full per day in your tank. More if you still get the stink, less if you get the swimming pool smell. Hopefully the dirty color will go away after a while but if not, a filter is what you will need for that.

Is there some way to get the water tested? I can't believe even in LOS you could be forced to purchase polluted water. But, no choice? Moving would be one I would contemplate.

thanks for the reply,as you know us peasants here in los have as much say as a soi dog,but we have an ex.big wig living close by who,as the saying goes ITS NOT WHAT YOU KNOW,ITS WHO YOU KNOW.well the big wig went to see the big man at the top, well little did the big man at the top know about the situation, but it was sorted to our satisfaction within 12hrs.

so we are almost finished emptying the tank of the dirty water,so then clean it and hope we live happilly ever after.

cheers meatboy.
