Featured Replies

Phuket set to be country's first province to have One Tambon One Search and Rescue Team in all areas.

Setting a target to have One Tambon One Search and Rescue Team in every sub-district or tambon by September this year, the Phuket authority organized training workshops for local residents. They target at having 10 people from each of 18 local administrative bodies.

Just last week another batch underwent the session, chaired by Phuket Vice Governor Worapote Ratasrima. Out of a total of 180 people, they are divided into 3 groups and to be conducted by this September.

Being one of the Ministry of Interior policies, the scheme is aimed at enhancing skills of local villagers in efficient search and rescue in any case of emergencies.

Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Rayong, Ratchaburi and Phang-Nga also went ahead with their operation on the programs.
