Popular Post The stuttering parrot
Now they took a lot of guts knowing exactly what the outcome would be. Taking away no doubt for obligatory attitude adjustment talk however this is only the start of a massive ground swell. Nice touch by the PM by saying anyone else want to protest? Well yes prime minister how about the millions who want their democracy back. Congratulations to the five for standing up for what they believe in and I hope they are all ok.

Now is there anyone else with an opinion? That's a few more with opinions eliminated and happiness meter is rising and the P.M's popularity will be climbing towards 100%

How dare they think for themselves. (Waiting for some idiot to mention Thaksin now, as in "what about under Thaksin?") Edit: I see I was too late. Popular Post pinkpanther99
If Prayuth is so eager to see Thailand return to a democratic process then why not let these youngsters have their say? In my opinion, these students should be encouraged to voice their opinions, providing they do so in a legal and peaceful manner. That's all part of a true democatractic process, right? Merely dismissing them as saying they 'do not understand' is not only derogatory but is also nothing short of asinine in my view. A leader of a country should lead, not just dismiss those beneath him who may have an opinion different from his own.
Briggsy
Khon Kaen University is a government university and admission is through the entrance exam. My point being this is a recognised university rather than just a Ratchaphat degree mill. I wonder if these protestors will be allowed to graduate.

'Before continuing his speech, Prayut asked the audience "is there anybody else wanting to protest?"' Yeah the Colonels are waiting around the corner to speak to you. You will also be driven away for a few weeks if you don't understand. That’s what he forgot to tell them. Should have asked about Dad's recent windfall and how much he got. I am sure that would have got a better response? I hope the General is positive about the drought problem in the area. It may win friends.
