This has been a News Item in Australia.

Thailand does have, for Thailand, a reasonable handle on the Airport arrivals.

Not faultless, but a system in place.

For the ABC TV an upper level Thai Immigration Official was interviewed.

He quite openly admitted that it is the Land Boarder crossing where the highest potential threat lay.

I can see the logic in his viewpoint.

They can't stuff it up worse than the US did. And it does not really matter as there is no preparation whatsoever either here in Cambodia or in neighboring Laos.

And a small reminder before this thread descends into the usual Thailand bashing: if the West hadn't sat on its collective behind for so long (it is only Wes Africa at all); the situation would not be as dire as it is now.

Not sure what your point is? I did not say anywhere that the Western countries are not generous but in this particular case they failed miserably.

As you like to post links, here is another one: http://time.com/3393656/ebola-donations-funding/

Well they have already placed individuals under quarantine here in the last few months, so they are actively monitoring. I think most country's would struggle to contain ebola...Australia is certainly jittery.
