Drinking glasses

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

Where can I buy some nice glasses from for cocktails, beer and smoothies. Also want to get some cocktail shakers and accessories.

Just moving into a new house so need to get it kitted out

Thanks in advance

Alex

Warrorot market has a place that sells kitchenware that has a very good cocktail glass selection. I don't know the name but if you head up Chiangmoi rd all the way to the river and turn left towards the US Consul, there is a place two blocks down facing the river. The shop is a corner unit near the gold shops. If you are driving there, then coming from the US Consul, along the river road, cross the traffic lights and head along the river towards Warrorot. It is a block down from the Red Cross office, on the right.

Also in the Warorot market Chiangmai Plastic has a reasonable selection (google it) as does Makro on the superhighway.

Yup, Chiang Mai Plastic for basic Ocean brand stuff. Cheap, durable and attractive. Central Dept store for more selection. We found it paid to invest in really good wine glasses, Schott Zweisel, German import at Central. But Thai-produced are just fine for other glassware. Kept breaking the Thai wine glasses at the stem when washing.
